Black / Black Chrome Painted Headlights To Buy?

I know RaulG does it but i'm looking to just buy the lights too, I don't want to have to ship the ones I have right now.

180 has loaner lights, but as the post above says, this is a very doable DIY. These headlights are easy to open. I'd never done a set before, but I did mine over the past few weeks.

If your car is a DD, best bet is to start on a Friday night, and you'll be done in time to watch football.

If you absolutely need to buy a new set of lights, you'll probably shell out in the territory of $1500-$2k for the mod. Clearcorners.com sells a set for the 07-09s in that price range. Totally not worth it when the DIY costs about $150 (and that's including DIY'ing an iron man / sti-r lenses!)

As I mentioned, I literally just did mine, so if you need any tips, don't hesitate to PM / post.

It's an easy DIY skill-wise, but IMO a real PITA. It's one of those DIYs that's a general hassle, it's worth it for the time spent and the savings, but if I lived close to 180 customs I'd drive a couple hours, drop them off and pick them up a couple days later.
Plus his quality of work is stellar. I think my DIY lights look great but still a couple notches below a 180 job.

If you do DIY be SURE to swap your crappy fresnal lens for the STiR lens, much sharper cutoff, a hint of blue at the edges and looks SOOO clean in the housing, for $50 it's a no-brainer.

Thanks for the help guys. Would it be possible to wrap them with vinyl instead of painting so I can use them right away?

Paint FTW for heads & tails, vinyl overlays only if you're leasing, they're OK but not near the quality of a good paint finish.
