Seat memory and keys

Can someone explain more clearly than the manual how you associate a stored memory for seat and steering wheel with one of the keys in a 2013 G37?

Assuming you already set the memory storage buttons 1 and 2...

The car may need to be set to ACC or ON (car does not need engine to be running)
1. Press the set button
2. Press/hold the preset number that you wish to associate to your key, until the orange light comes on.
3. Press and hold 'unlock' on the key until the orange light on the preset button flashes.

While we're on this topic, anyone know how to unprogram a key to the memory settings? I can't seem to find this in the manual.

I believe the emergency brake must be set also

Interesting, because the manual says nothing about the emergency brake, and my car has the 7AT, so I've never used the brake.

I didn't use the emergency brake when I was setting mine up.

It's been forever since I did this but I think I had to set the handbrake on my 6MT. It's probably not necessary for slushbox G's since they will be in park.

On Page 3-33 in my 2012 owners manual the parking brake must be set for MT models.

You are correct if you have an AT

The transmission only needs to be in park
