- Do you have a heatsink for the LED's? Are the LED's glued to a metal surface?
- What specific LED's are you using?
- Those look like pretty beefy power resistors - how many miliamps are you feeding the LED's?

Thanks for the complements everyone.
The LEDs are epoxied to the surface plate. Those LEDs are a 3w, CCT 5500k, 200 lumen bulb. Those are 10 watt 15 ohm resistors that I am using. Based on my calculation a forward current of 750 mA, with a forward voltage of 3.6 V, powered by a power source of 13 V, the correct resistor would be a 10 watt 15 ohm resistor.
Those LED bulbs are 3 watts.
Thanks. You can just google component LEDs and buy each component separately. But you will need to solder them, wire them and have some basic circuit calculation knowledge. Other then that its pretty easy. The LED I'm using is a simple 3 watt bulb, that has a forward current of 750 mA, max forward current 1000 mA, forward voltage is 3.6 V, 200 lumens

Thanks for the additional info.
If anyone is interested, here are some LEDs with these specs (3w, CCT 5500k, 200 lumens):
Vollong 3W White High Power LEDs | Component LEDs | Super Bright LEDs
I would still be interested in seeing what kind of heat sink you used and how you mounted these in your car.
Thanks for the additional info.

those are great to use. I've use them before. but you can actually get the led and the heatsink separately but you'll need to solder them together. its much cheaper, like $1.25 if I remember correctly. Thats what I did. I ordered from a Taiwanese distributor in bulk. Like 100 bulbs and 100 heatsinks for less then $100 plus shipping.
