how?! there is a way to have the existing turn signal socket utilized as brake light along with the rings? that would be pretty cool and unique.
By connecting the output wire from the unit to both the brake wire (towards the taillight) and the turn signal wire(taillight side(normally taped off) . This way the Factory turn signal bulb will turn on with the rings when braking and signaling
I purchased this from Andy just a while back, and installed it (the recommended way with solder joints). I love it, and everyone I show asks why the heck Infiniti didn't make it this way from the get go. Thanks Andy! I recommend to any G, M or GTR owner out there. One very subtle but nice way to be different from the masses.
My next goal is to replace the original blinker bulbs with some nice bright LEDs and wire that to the brake only output. That way you get the rings to blink while on the brakes, but the inner lights stay lit so other drivers can really tell that you are on the brakes.

^^^Exactly what I wanna do but dunno how ! Do you mind posting a DIY and a video once you get that done ? if I could get that done once you post a DIY ( of course) I would get a pair of VLED V3 Tritons in place the original blinker bulbs to serve as brake lights along with rings
Unless Andy could write a DIY on how to accomplish that effect.

Its as simple as taking the normally taped off wire that goes to the factory turn and tapping it onto the brake wire input to the box.
