^Thx again for the instruction (and moral support!) throughout

Was close to sending it back since the fitment/install is a bit weird, but glad I pulled through. I'll throw up a few more shots once I wash the car and maybe play around with the red "S" badge in one of the corners

Where did you get the new grill. Based on your pictures just the grill and you reuse the frame. Could you post the site?

Happen to have any pics of the back of the grille to show how the mesh attaches?

Im sorry that looks like my altima from 2005. Not a $40k+ modern sports sedan.

^actually had the same grille on my (old) Altima SER, all good
And in relative terms, 2013 isn't really all that more "modern" than a 2006

Don't have pics but mesh is held on by a bunch of bendable metal hooks

Looks good I'm considering doing this project.
Where did you purchase the thicker diamond pattern mesh from and how hard was it for you to get it fitted into the grill? Or did you take it to a body shop and have them professionally do it?

Grille installation

hey your car looks great, I have the same car and ordered the same grill, but mine doesn't fit. I double checked it's the right products but it won't fit on my car. Has anyone else experienced this?

A little late to the party, but I received my grille yesterday and I am experiencing the exact same issue.

I can get the right side into place, but I suspect that is only due to the right corner being slightly damaged. With the right side flush, the left side does not go in at all. The pictures look far better than it looks in person. I finally decided to step away from this install for fear of cracking the grille due to me trying to flex and bend it into place. I've installed Cmod grilles in my previous car and in my GF's G37S coupe, all without any fitment issues what so ever. I guess my luck ran out this time around. I resisted my urge to sand the hell out of this thing to make it fit in my G. Hopefully Cmod will respond positively to the email I sent them this morning.
