NO, the DIY did not cause my problems. They were totally my fault. I didn't prep the areas enough for paint and I should have used the OEM sealant. Hey CantGme, thanks, RaulG was kind enough to message me and give me a few tips on prep and the correct paint and I am now ready to get to work once the weather gets a little better. Thanks to those who chipped as well.

here is another progress pic. Was about 90% done, JUST about to put them in the oven for baking/sealing when i thought "ehh let me get some of those pit marks out" of the haedlight cover...when i effed it all up and am left with tons of swirls....<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Italia....I'm in CT as well.

Planning on doing this beginning of summer. May get ahold of you for help if that's cool. Pretty much only thing I have questions on is resealing.

not a problem! id like to help in any way i can, but im in the process of learning how to reseal as well lol hopefully mine turn out ok! then we can do some work on yours

where in Ct are you located?

thanks! wont find out until sometime next week because i have to hand my headlamps over to a buddy of mine thats going to professionally buff them out...

Not too sure if i wanna bake my headlights. Too much of a risk to take. Does anyone knw if theres anyplace i can go in Dallas? Or can someone give me a quick quote?

You can ship em out to 180custom or RaulGcustom. But baking really isnt bad, I was nervous at first too.then youll realize sealing is the main issue lol
