Question about instruments lights

Hi,

I just got a 2010 G37s Convertible and today was my first night drive... and I realized most of my instruments are not enlighted !

Here are 2 pics to show the darkness of my interior.

Can you tell me if there is a hidden switch to turn the light on ? I check the interior fuse box but everything seems ok.
Note that the instruments switch on the 2 doors and around the central dashbord work fine.

Thanks for your help.

Something isn't right.

I'd check your fuses if the illuminated portions aren't working.

But it's probably still under warranty....just take it in and have them look at it.

I had a look to the fuse box but it seems all right. Do you know which fuse controls the interior illumination ?

I'd take it back to the dealer where you bought it ASAP !

That's interesting, do you have more constructive comment ?

FYI, the car is under manufacturer warranty and they'll fix it for free. It's right now at the service department.

Is the illumination turned all the way down? There's a dimmer switch on the dash beside the steering wheel on the left.

Just above the end of the signal switch in this photo.

I tried the dimmer switches but no effect, they changed only the intensity of the currently working ones (gauges and navigation screen).

Anyway, just got a call from the mechanics and all is fixed Hope I will enjoy my vert now !

I have the report from the mechanics and it's really interesting : I did not pay attention but my trunk opening switch was not working (but the keyfob or the switch next to the steering wheel were!). It was the antenna that was defective, and has blown out the tail lamp fuse.

Replacing the antenna and the fuse fixed also the interior illumination problem. Hope it will help some owners !
