New V-LED Fogs
I saw that V-LED is offering a new type of fog light at 725 Lumins, that is bright! I have ordered a set for another car (H11 size)and I will post (when I get them and installed) how brighter these are:
5K WHITE 6 LED DRL/FOG LIGHT BULBS H11 | 1 PAIR B/O
Compared to what I currently have in (but in 5K):
6K WHITE 11W LED DRL/FOG BULBS H11 | 1 PAIR

Just got a shipping notice that these new style bulbs have shipped. I should have them installed in my Xterra next week. I'll report how much brighter they are than the old style ones ....

OK, I got these the other day and in usual V-LED fashion they are well built and very solid. They have aluminum heat sync and they are small LED's vs. the large yellow ones in their older style. The end has a lens on it I assume to broaden the pattern and the LED's on the sides are covered in a clear plastic (I assume to protect). These new style lights are much brighter and fill the whole lens reflector with light and you can't see the individual LED's. since these are small LED's and not the larger yellow ones (when not lit) you don't see any yellow reflection in the lens housing.
All and all, very good, much brighter and a cleaner white (5K). I see they are out of stock again and not accepting back-orders. As soon as they come back in, I'll be ordering for my M!

As I have mentioned above, I put these on a Xterra (2012 Pro 4-X) which does not have HID headlamps so they don't match, they are much whiter. I plan on getting them for my M38x but I'm sure they will be a bit whiter (5000k vs. 4300K) but they will be close and bright!

They are just plug & play .... they have a socket. You just disconnect the old and attach the new. Getting to the bulb is a different story.

Here is a day time picture. The left fog has the older style and the right the new ones. Doesn't look like that much of a difference in a daylight pic but it is brighter.
