Broken passenger 2012 G37X fog lamp where to purchase / how to replace

My passenger fog lamp housing is cracked which appears to be from a rock. I called the dealer and they want over $350 to replace it which is ridiculous. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement from and what years are the same?

Also, does anyone have any instructions on how to perform the replacement?

When I called 2 dealers they have combined sold about 20 in the past 4 months. Is it me or is that a lot.

Dealers always make a killing off fog lamps, regardless of make or model. Look at ebay... they go for around $100/ea. And yeah, that's expensive for a hunk of plastic. The rest of the cost is dealer markup and labor. Probably a one hour charge (for a 10 minute job.)

Go find the FSM for removal and installation instructions.

You really don't need the FSM. Fog lights are a fairly simple puzzle. Unbolt the undercarriage panel, unclip the lower section of the wheel-well panel, pull it back, reach in and look around with your mag light. There's a single nut holding the housing to the bumper. And it's easier to simply pull out the bulb than it is it try and unclip the harness. (Don't touch the actual bulb with your fingers.)

And obviously, run the front end up on car ramps to do this work. Take your time and don't let yourself get frustrated.

Soon the OP can tell his friends how he saved $300 by repairing his Infiniti by himself.
