Seat problem!

Hey guys, I recently purchased a new 2012 coupe. So far, everything has been great, except the problem with my seats.

Usually when I press the button, the one that automatically moves the seat forward so that people can sit in the back, the seat moves up fine. However, when I hit it again to move the seat back to its original place, it won't work. The seat just won't move. I end up having to move the seat back manually.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with the car. It was working fine before and I don't know what could have caused the problem.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

After the passenger gets out, you have to unfold the chair and push it back. Then when it "locks" you push the button. If it is still folded, it will not move.

I do push the seats back in place. I make sure I hear the sound of the seat locking.

it doesnt work after you close the door and open it again. Also, try holding down the button. my friends press the button like crazy and ask why its not working and i have to always tell them to hold it down

As stated before, you have to fold the seat forward, and touch the button once. It will slide up. Fold the chair back into normal position and touch the button once and it will slide back into place. Don't touch any other adjustments on the chair other than the one button by the fold handle. If this doesn't work, take it to your dealership and have them fix it under warranty.
