So i was interested in changing the orange front blinker light to red. do i need to change just the lightbulb or does the housing of it need to be changed/painted. also where can i find a red light bulb to replace it with. if anyone has done this and has pics that would be great.

my lense is clear and the bulb is orange. i dont think you want to use red bulbs in the front.

 

if you live in the US it is illegal in any state to run red lights on the front of your car. Get some LED switch backs instead, white light when not turning, switches to amber (only legal color) while turning.

 

It's not "illegal" per say...just gotta get a permit for it.

Most likely they won't give it to you though unless you're in emergency services.

 

Is there a way to get the red lights for when you click unlock and lock or is that the same light as your blinker? Also whee can I find the LED switch backs. Anyone have a picture of how it'll look?

the turn signals are the same lights as your blinkers, your best bet if you really wanted something red is to do a separate hook up with a switch inside you can turn on or off. Maybe try a demon eye instead? will still have to be careful with the cops, they don't like red lights on the front due to people thinking traffic is going the wrong direction.
