I want to wrap the chrome trim on my sedan with a glossy black CF wrap, to compliment the CF roof spoiler I just ordered. Does the trim come off to be wrapped or does it happen in place? What kind of 3M wrap am I looking for?

went to shades of gray tint in philadelphia. got a 40% tint and black gloss vinyl wrap. they quickly put it on and they just lay it over the chrome. they didn;t use 3m, but im sure that stuff is very good.

How does the 3M CF wrap hold up to heat? Been thinking about wrapping the engine cover where it's already black and maybe the radiator cover as well.
