Is it possible to make the drivers seat no move on its own?

I don't know if this is a simple question or not but can program the drivers seat so it doesn't move when turn the car off and get out and same thing when getting in and turning it on.
I just got the car as a gift yesterday and everything is amazing , but this is my only gripe.

any answers are greatly appreciated.

Its in the comfort and convenience settings on the main LCD. Car has to be in park to change the settings.

I think you are referring to the seat position programming? You can change it to the position of your choice and program that into your key fob. I don't know if it can be defeated altogether. The seat shouldn't move when turning the car off, only when you unlock it with the fob that's programmed to a certain position. At least I think so, I don't drive the sedan much.

Ironically, the easy exit feature is the only thing that many coupe drivers miss. I understand you can turn it off as noted above.

I agree with the OP.. In the back of my mind I wonder how many times the seat will move before the motor burns out or stops functioning. Of course, this will happen after the warranty runs out.

it can be disabled, because mine is. mine has never been enabled - that would drive me nuts. i'm the only driver of the car so memory seating is of no value to me.

check the manual, or follow the above suggestion.

As Surfjax87 posted, the OP is refering to the feature on the AT, not found on the 6MT's
Slide Driver Seat Back on Exit and also possibly Lift Steering Wheel on Exit

I disabled it when I had my G35X. For most people, it's probably unnecessary wear on the seat motor.

Awesome, I didn't know sedans had this. Guess I should have RTFM for the sedan even though I don't drive it much.

That's the best feature, the whole gauge cluster moves up and your seat moves back, classy AF!

With that problem solved, i still can't seem to clear the saved intelligent key seat positions that the last owner put in. From reading the manual, which said holding down the set button for more than 10 sec will clear the seat position while in acc mode. But i have down this numerous times yet the seat stoll goes into the memory position every time i get back in the the car. Any help on how to clear the seat memory?

Again any answers are greatly appreciated.
thanks

Ha, mine has never moved for easy exit. Didn't know we had this. I knew about the saved settings for driver 1 and 2.....interesting.

This wont clear it but you can just store your memory setting.

As an FYI, in my coupe everytime I stop I put the seat back before I get out of the car. When I didn't, I started seeing a LOT of excesive wear on the drivers seat from scooting past the side bolster. I do wish the coupes had that feature that you want to disable! lol
