Race Seats in a Sedan with Coupe Brackets
So I wanted to grab some race seats for some more support and lighter weight for my G37 Sedan, and I could only find that they made brackets for the Coupe.
Being a V35 owner, I knew that in the older generation the Coupe and Sedan had interchangeable seats because the brackets were identical, so I gambled on a set of Coupe race seat brackets.
I will post pics when I get my seats in, but as you can see, for fyi, Coupe and Sedan V36 seats are interchangeable bracket wise. Wiring is another story of course.

Please advise Wedge Engineering that:
1) Infiniti is spelled with an I not a Y
2) The G37 was not sold before 2008
With that out of the way.. what seats did you end up going with?

It also bugs me when part makers misspell the Auto Manufacturers name. Go to AutokitsX website and they spell it with a 'Y' 4 times on their product page.
I am interested to see pics of the seats.

I wonder if this never worked out, I'd be interested in something like this as my seats don't help my back or my sciatic :/ . I would be looking for something with more support for sure

Well I am going to be working with Wedge/planted to see if we can design one for our cars. Based on the looks of the OP first post it appears to fit. I am going to take a G37 coupe seat out of one from the dealership and bolt it into mine and take measurements to see what the difference is and go from there. I know Bride makes them but they aren't cheap. Something like 250-300 a side for base.

4.7ohm, 1/2 watt resistor for each seat, I also swapped over the weight sensor from the passengers seat;
I've read somewhere there is a way to loop the weight sensor to have the pass side airbag deploy, I was unable to figure it out, so I just swapped it into the race seat cushion.
