Has anyone ever bought from MaxLux?
I'm looking to purchase some 5000k bulbs but I my options are limited so I was going to get some 6000k's but if there are any good 5000ks, I might go with it. I found MaxLux and I was wondering if anyone had these, and what were your impressions
Got some good reviews
Thanks!

Those just don't put out the lumens that a good OEM bulb will, the best 5K bulb you can buy is the Osram 66240 CBI also packaged as the Sylvaina Silverstar 66240 CBI. The only 5K bulb that still puts out over 3200lm.
They do cost around $185 a set shipped but you get what you pay for when it comes to bulbs.
Reviews aren't the best way to judge a bulb, when someone goes from a 4300K bulb to a 5000 or 6000K bulb right away they think they can see better because the light output is more white. If you do a true distance test then you see how the bulbs fall short. They will also lose there lumens anywhere from 250-500 hrs and be useless as were the OEM bulbs can still be good at 1500+ hrs. Many writing the reveiws haven't used them long enough to know. The hotspot is usually off with the less expensive bulbs too which really hurts the distance with projectors. People who don't know much about HID's don't even know were the hotspot should be so again going on their recommendaton is useless.
If you really want to learn about bulbs and what is best try a site like HIDP, most on their know a lot about everything to do with HIP performance.
