headlight bulb question

Car: 2011 G37xS

I was just getting some advices from people and they told me the stock low/hi beam lights are already really pretty. And to just change the fog to 6000k white and OEM 194 ambers.

Another person told me 8000k hi/low and 6000k fog to match the lights. So..

Do you guys know which set of bulbs will have a nice effect (as in hot look) to a g37 ?

I went w/ the 6000k headlights, and 194 amber, and then i bought some led's for the fogs which match the headlights fairly well, although they arent on in the pic. i bought my headlights and fogs from ijdmtoy and the parking lights from vleds, only thing i wish i did was get a brighter parking light since my headlights are so bright,
also depends on what you want, a blueish/white output, just white, all vary by temp. i would suggest getting 5000k or 6000k since they are the most practical, the higher temps are just for show

I put 5k cool blue intense hids and matching 5k led fogs in the bottom. Then for a bit of contrast I have 6k 194 bulb in the head light

Your way ahead of the game by running the Osram 66240 CBI's, they are the only OEM 5000K bulb that will still put out the lumens that your stock bulbs do and last a full life. If you go with a aftermarket headlight bulb in 5,6, or 8K you will be cutting your output a lot. Those bulbs also lose their lumens very quickly and the hotspot is usually off which makes a big difference in projectors.
I changed my fogs to a 5k led bulb to match the white light of the 66420 CBI's. If you do look for them don't mix them up with the regular 66240's those are just like our stock bulbs at 4300k.
You want the Osram 66240 CBI says cool blue on the box or the Sylvania 66240 CBI which says Silverstar on the box, they are both the same bulb. The Silverstars were just renamed for retail sale in the US and can now be found in many Pep Boys and other auto parts stores.

I suggest painting your headlights. You would be surprised of how bright aggressive they look.
