180Customs Ironman v2 experiences?
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone who's had the newer ironman (not the first version that burned out in everyone's car) done by 180Customs has had any of their LEDs burn out? I live in California so the reliability of the LEDs is the one and only thing stopping me from shipping my headlights to them to do this mod since I can't be shipping my headlights every time one LED goes out. Please post any experiences that you've had with 180Custom's new version of the ironman. Thanks!

I dont have IronMan's but my take on this is the following. Just like any bulb/Led it is doomed to burn out at some point so keep that in mind..so doing this mod can have you take your headlights off your car multiple times just my two cents.

While that's true, umnitza has Orion v2 LED halos that I've read they've done tons of research into, have almost no failure rates, and offer a lifetime warranty. Looking over at the bimmer forums shows many satisfied customers and no burnouts. That would be my alternative if I get too much negative feedback on the ironmans

I have the newer LEDs from 180. Yes the v2. I had them running strong for a year. Two months ago I disconnected them. On both headlights I had a single LED constantly flickering. I cut my ground wire to the mod. Still debating on what to do. Either try to replace myself or send out. I do love my lights though for the record. Haha

Thanks for the feedback icfp. Yeah, I wasn't sure if their newest LEDs were the v3 or v2 so I just put v2 in my topic. Any feedback on the v3's would be great although it might be too early to tell how reliable they are since they've only had them for about 6months I think?
