Mine look the same. I'm going to take them off and paint them eventually. U probably could use plasti dip but would it hold up well since u use the handle to get in and out of the car?

It's been discussed numerous times. You can paint them. Or you can replace them with the ones from 09+ that are made of the same shodo aluminum as the rest of the car that do not scratch easily like the plastic ones in the 08.

people say plastidip attracts lint and is difficult to clean, I don't think I'd want that in the interior of my car.

CF vinyl, or real CF if you want to spend little more. Or just order from ebay...

one I found, but search before buying.

^ this seller is the cheapest when you include the s/h fee. Or contact carbon fiber element and do a custom CF inerior like I did. Check my log page.

Are you still under the warranty? you could argue to your dealer it is peeling, but its a toss up on rather they will agree to cover it. Don't say it is scratched, say it's "peeling"

I got the washi replacement grips for mine. I like it a lot better than the 08 look, and I figured the 09 grips won't be around on ebay forever.
