I put the Mercedes E350 LEDs on my Blue Slate 08 Sport and wired them to the ignition. They are on when the engine is running. I only removed the fake air vents, drilled the mounting holes and re-installed them. I like them, and a lot of people think its OEM.I've had many complements on the car. Its also de-badged.

Looks similar to mine as well, wired to the parking light. I like how mine looks installed - looks almost OEM (since my DRLs have a black casing, installed into the black faux grill inserts).

These look good and for 30 bucks?!?

Ive been trying to decide what to do with those lame empty mock vents ever since i got the car but have been hesitant to do the fog light thing due to price. I also think led DRLs are more appropriate for this and look better than the fog light retro fit. Ive seen the mercedes drl version, but again the price is so much and they certainly dont look hundreds better than these.
