Ok I have a 2009 g37xs with the adaptive headlights. The most expensive lights I've owned with the poorest visibility I've had in any vehicle. Asked the dealer if the lights could be adjusted higher as I believe they are low. Dealer says that they cannot be adjusted. Is this correct?

Hey guys,

Quick question... I'm fairly new to the G world and was wondering how to tell whether or not my car has the AFS? I'm in the market for a newer set of headlights (black housing) and I see that when advertised some w/afs and others w/o afs. I want to be sure to get the correct set. Also if I did have an afs car and bought a set of non afs headlight would they still work? Meaning are the other harnesses all the same and can be plug and play minus the afs obviously and will it throw out some code/lights on the dash if not plugged in? Thanks in advance, joe

I can only comment on if you have afs or not. At the bottom of the dash left of the steering wheel is an afs on off switch. No switch no afs.
