I'm wanting to change the stock 4200k bulbs and get some bulbs that are around 6 or 7k. Any idea on which one would look cleaner? And if someone could give me a link on where to purchase them it would be great! Thank you!

 

HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning D2S 5000k, i wouldnt get anything over 5k cuz you wont see anything.

 

careful the cheap bulbs wont work and will flicker off or just wont turn on

 

I've been running these for about a year with 0 problems. Most people have no problems, but some had the flickering problems like you said.

 

the new 2012 nissan's/Infiniti's have a newer ballast now, so da mayor is correct with the "cheap bulbs wont work and will flicker off or just wont turn on" also he works for Infiniti and see's this first hand!

Im also one who has no problems at all but then again I have a 08 G coupe and 09 Fx

Does that mean I can only use OEM 4300k Bulbs that originally came with the car? I need a replacement because one of my OEM bulbs blew out and I am on my second pair of Bulbs, this pair is made by GARAX i bought it for $80.00 on Ebay. When I installed it the lights turned on perfectly fine. A few days later the drivers side would not turn on with the ballast and the passenger side would turn on fine. Is there any recommendations on 6000k HID D2S that will work properly without flickering on 2012 models ? I'm tired of jacking up my car for the 5th time to just take swap out the D2S...

 

stay away from 7000k, will be too blue and look cheap.... frankly IMHO 6000k looks too blue on many bulbs (not all), I'm a fan of 5000k, nice and white. Not too mention the higher Kelvin rating you go the less actual lumens you have.

 

Two sets and I went back to stock from 6k.

 

i've replaced my headlights 3 times already (08 G37 non sport) i've tried the cheap brand (ebay, $35), the middle brand ($65), and the expensive ($100) and keep getting headlights that won't work, it's driving me nuts!! luckily this DDM tuning is local for me so I think i will give the 55W 6K lights a shot through them....
