Modded Headlights

Hey guys!

So i decided to open up my headlight and makes some changes to it! it was fairly time consuming due to no forum on how to open up the sedan headlights but i figured it out.. if enough people like what i did ill post up a do it yourself for the headlights i made the following mods:

* Blacked out the housing
* 3 Blue Leds on the front of the headlight that will be on during the day and night

Tell me what you guys think!

Looks good but why does it already appear to already have some haze/condensation?

Actually there are several DIY threads on removing the headlights and painting them here and on G35driver, here's one of them:

Look forward to pics on the car, those LEDs look pretty bright.

i saw this but the sedan and the coupe headlights have different structures.. i tried to use this and once i got the headlight out i relized it was different.

I assumed that although they have a slightly different look that the removal would be the same. What differences did you find when taking it apart?
At any rate, look forward to any info & more pics, thanks!

The brakets that are used to hold the light and base together are somewhat different.. also the wiring is differently done.. so it can be confusing. however the basic idea is the some on both headlights.

There used to be a DIY on G35Driver for the V36 sedan headlights but it's been deleted at the OP's request????? It also had the directions for putting in the clear STi-R lenses which kick azz..... here was my little project.
