Diode Dynamics Review??

Can anyone share their experiences with Diode Dynamics and the quality of their products? I'm thinking about changing to LED interior lights and doing a 6000K headlight/foglight swap. They seem to try really hard to make their customers happy, which is a plus in my book. What about their bulbs and SMD boards? is the quality there? Shipping time ok?

Thanks!

I bought the stage 2 interior LEDs from diode and I have also purchased LEDs from vleds. I was really disappointed in the quality of diode leds. it did not look well made compared to vleds. the vleds worked the second I installed them unlike diodes where I kept having to play around with the leds for them to work (other members have this same problem). for a moment there, I thought I would have to return the LEDs b/c it would not work after 5 minutes of removing/installing. this was just my door lights, so it's not complicated (it did finally work). Their prices are better than vleds, but I guess it shows in the quality.

i placed an order from DD on 12/31 for the stage 3 interior kit. i haven't received anything yet and was just shipped out yesterday via fed ex. the delay was probably due to the holiday so no biggie. they have pretty much answered all my questions on here extremely quick.

can't comment on the product yet as i haven't gotten it.

Thanks for the honest comment. I've read one or two other posts about the HID bulbs not working on the passenger side, but I thought that was a car and aftermarket headlight thing so I'm not sure I'll hold that against them yet. But LEDs not working straight away are kind of odd. That should be just plug n' play but everyone else that posted didn't seem to have a problem. They also sent me a very quick PM and customer service DOES go a very long way in my book.

Let me know how your Fog light install goes. Maybe snap a few pics (where you mount the ballasts, what the light looks light etc.) Did you get the relay too?

When it comes to customer service they're top notch. Answered all my emails and always there to offer assistance.

I ordered the 6000K headlights but IMHO I think the light output could be better. I'm aware that the higher the temp the lesser the output but I didn't think it was that much less compared to stock the bulbs. This is not to bash their products. I am just stating my own personal observations. I'm thinking of purchasing a different 6000k bulb and compare it to theirs.

5000k is the way to go. I had the same thoughts/experience with another vendor on a different car. Swapped them back for 5000k and was much more happy. Looks great and still has great visibility.
