Exterior VLEDS Installed!

Got my order back from VLEDS and installed, alongside my 6000K headlights. They consist of:

2x 5K 7.5W 7443's for the rear turn signals -
2 WHITE 5K V-LEDS 7.5W HIGH POWER LED BACK-UP LIGHT BULBS 7440 7443

2x 6K 8W 921's for the backups -
V-LEDS 6K WHITE 19 LED 8W HIGH POWER BULBS 917 918 920 921 922 923 579

2x 6K SMT 5 LED 194's for license plate illumination -
2 HID 6K WHITE SMT 5 LED LIGHT BULBS 194 168 158 2821

2x BLUE 13 LED 193's for the front park lights -
2 V-LEDS BLUE 194 13 LED LIGHT BULBS 158 168 2825

The lights themselves are awesome, solid construction, very high output on all of them, and look beautiful on the car. Definitely glad I took the advice of several board member's thread's and went with the 8W reverse LED's - no worries with the backup cam. Went with blue for the front park lights since those fixtures just look like they need something special, and goes well with the 6000k HID's and switchbacks I ordered from another site.

However, I had also ordered the 2x 3 ohm load resistor kit, and I am very disappointed that 1) I was sent the wrong kit, instead I received the 6 ohm kit, and 2) it only came with 2 wire taps. I will definitely be calling them tomorrow after work. Unfortunately it's not even worth the price of shipping them back, I'll just have to source them locally. I am not impressed at this, and am going to have to live with hyper-flash for a few days until I can get the time to setup new resistors. I am also not impressed with their lack of stock, there were more than a couple things I wanted to pickup with my order than were not in stock.

I'll post some pictures later, since after the rain lately the car needs a bath.

First two links switched? Please post some pics of where you mount the resistors if you will.

Haha nope, first 2 links are good. Used the 5K's as there is no need for bluish tint behind the red lenses, why waste output? And they're led's, they'll blink no matter how they are listed.

I was going to mount the resistors tied to the rear light harnesses on each side, but I was shipped the wrong resistors. They won't generate enough heat to melt anything.

Haha I'll get pics up as soon as I can figure out how to get them to show right. Right now they just show blended light from all three fixtures.

On the issue of V-LEDS sending me the wrong resistors, they were very gracious and Express mailed me a set of the correct ones, free of charge, and creditted my account. Those babies will be installed shortly!

Cool

Wow, so busy I haven't gotten back to this in over a month! Ugh time flying.

Here's the most recent I have, cellphone taken, including the recent winter ones! I like the effect with the blue markers. I get a lot of "Holy S#!t's" from them. Until I use the signals. That usually drops a few jaws. The alternating amber-white effects are sweet!

Note: the signals appear less purple tinged IRL, and 6000K HID's appear more blue, I'm no expert with a camera, and even a good cell cam is never a good replacement for a real good sensor.

Haha for security reasons I'm not posting my tag, blurring it out wouldn't do it any justice, but suffice it to say it's VERY well lit!

I recently had changed my rear turn signals to LEDs. The reverse lights have been swapped to LEDs.

Did not have enough time to do the front with resistors yet.

Will post when I do the front Switchbacks.
