it limits the bodyroll(or keeping you from sliding around) from taking hard corners. i did sat on them before as a passenger, and i just loved how much it holds your body into a tight position.
WPPJR30 has all the possible handling upgrade done to his car and i guess the last step of upgrade was a bucket seat.
you really cant have much control when your whole body is sliding side to side while car wanting to do some more pavement carving .

The Brides I have are not a strict racing seat, as you can see. I wouldn't say they are "better" than the stock seats. Two completely different animals. I bought them because they're more snug than stock. They have enhanced side bolsters. Styling. Oh, and I'm a bit of a JDM *****.
I enjoy driving my car more with the aftermarket seats, however, in terms of comfort - if I were to embark on a significant road trip, I would probably prefer the stock seats.
You do not need to drive 140MPH (or drift) to appreciate a good seat with holding power. It's almost a shame how many believe they need to go fast to justify certain modifications. The majority of the people on this forum would install a supercharger or twin turbos on their car before they'd touch their stock brakes, tires, or even their sway bars, when those are modifications that render a noticeable enhancement to the driving experience.
Just my $.02.

sounds good. I added a huge amount of upgrades before I added my TT then realized I didnt need have the stuff I upgraded. Always wanted to upgrade seats but was always told its just first looks unless your trying to get really serious. Looks great though. Guess people just do things diff.
