Go with LEDs. You can get the same color and look, without the heat. I believe V-Leds is a sponsor here (I could be wrong, and correct me if I am).

V-Leds

Part Numbers:

Fog/Driving light
H11

Parking light
2825

Rear sidemarker
194 (for the 2011 its led so i assumed 194 will fit it.)

Front sidemarker
2825

There are sum extremely bright LED's there. But your right, you won't get the same light output. But they can produce significant brightness.

Tried it already. I had a broken housing which i resealed and modified to fit an HID bulb in the city/driving light. The housing began melting after 1h of the bulb being on. Within 4 hours the bulb was literally part of the housing.

What i think he's asking is changing his city/driving/parking light (where the old 2008-2010 g37 coupe's had their fogs) to HIDs. Which isn't possible unless he swaps his headlights with an older g.
