Headlights stolen!
Hah! Yea, by 180 Custom! But then they were held hostage by Hurricane Irene! So after some slight shipping issues, I got my headlights back this past Tuesday. I would have posted some pics sooner, but it was raining all the damn time! So here they are, the guys at 180 did an excellent job and thankfully they weren't washed away by Irene.
But this is my wip (work in progress), intake and some grill work are next!
I'll take some pics at night and post those up. Really makes the car look meaner! But that's my Nightmare!

I personally went on vacation and left the car home.. so I sent the headlights out then. It would not be legal to drive without headlights. Your options are really limited when sending them out, either go on vacation, borrow someone else's car in the time being, or rent one.
My time table was I sent them out on a friday (FedEx ground), 180 got them on wednesday. They work on them for a few days, and then send them back; but in my case, the hurricane hit NY. But figure 3 to 4 business days to ship back.

Sidemarker lights and reflectors
In North America, amber front and red rear sidemarker lamps and retro-reflectors are required. The law initially required lights or retroreflectors on vehicles made after 1 January 1968. This was amended to require lights and retroreflectors on vehicles made after 1 January 1970. These side-facing devices make the vehicle's presence, position and direction of travel clearly visible from oblique angles. The lights are wired so as to illuminate whenever the vehicles' parking and taillamps are on, including when the headlamps are being used. Front amber sidemarkers in North America may or may not be wired so as to flash in sync with the turn signals. Sidemarkers are permitted outside North America, but not required. If installed, they are required to be brighter and visible through a larger horizontal angle than US sidemarkers, they may not flash, and they must be amber at the front and rear unless the rear sidemarker is incorporated into the main rear lamp cluster, in which case it may be red or amber. Some Japanese, European, British and US-brand vehicles have sidemarkers in Europe and other countries where they are not required.

Well I haven't been pulled over yet.. but I live in Florida where there are no emission or safety inspections at all. Cops down here just don't like it if you have blue or red lights on the front of the car is all.

It’s my sense that most owners will enjoy driving their G more when they don’t have the underlying fear of being pulled over due to an illegal mod, where in this case even a fix-it ticket can result in the sizable inconvenience of removing and replacing the prohibited headlights. IMO constantly looking over your shoulder for cops distracts from the pleasure of driving this car.
