The higher up the light scale you go, the more purple you will get and the less effective the it will get. That's why 6000k is not stock.

Look at the OSRAM CBI (Cool Blue Intense).

5000K colour, pure white.
3400 lumens, brighter than stock.

Thanks for sharing. These look like exactly what I'm looking for and the price seems to be good as well. Have you personally used them?

Yup, I have them on my car. They are white, no hint of blue or yellow, and just as bright as stock if not brighter.

Here is a G37 with them.

Just installed mine this evening. Even if these are knockoffs, they have very solid construction, and fantastic output. I have them installed next to my 6000k switchback markers, and there's no difference in color temp. Very noticeable increase in lumens going down the highway, and I love the slight bluish tinge.

From what I can tell, they may be the real deal. I'm about 90% certain that they are. They are Japan market, the packaging matches exactly what Japan market is getting from catalog shots I've seen. Same coding on the bases, same squared off UV shielding, same 90deg bent, blue shielded, earth rods. Salts are harder to tell, because any photos I've seen - half are red, half are not, and the majority of those I've seen from the JDM catalogs show non-red salts. As I had said: if they are knock offs, they're damn fine quality, and better than some of the crap other ones I've seen. How they'll last...time will tell.

another alternative is the rare Philips 85122CM, CM meaning color match which rates the bulb at 5000K. I had that bulb, it was great on my G35 coupe projector however really poor in my G37 projector which I ended up swapping back to the stock bulbs. In the end as stated, nothing beats the performance longevity of the Philips 85122+ (4300K) enough said...
