Those fogs off Amazon aren't glass are they? I'm slacking on ordering my fogs lol, I've been busy and keep forgetting. Did anyone go with plastic fogs? A few euro car guys said to go plastic because their glass fogs are always cracking. Anyone experience this yet?
Okay so how do we take the Chrome rings out tho, sorry I haven't get time to try, just tryna get a fast answer here
Before you put the bumper on, look on the inside at the back of the rings. There is about 8 phillips screws. Some with a small head and some big. Remove them all and it all comes out.
So I've been looking for a clear cover to put over my bumper when it finally comes. Found these guys - anyone actually tried installing the 3M stuff themselves? The videos don't look that bad...

I dont think the vents would be a direct swap, you'd need to figure out a way to secure them in place. Unless the bumper has the recessed cup where the fog slides into (the fog is installed from the outside of the bumper, not from the back), you'll need to find a way to secure the foglight to the bumper support with brackets.
Not true, some Japanese engineer figured out how to do it using the 2010 bumper on 2011, and 2012.

I had a laser cut 3m clear bra on my vette, really high quality bra but super hard to install. From my understanding (from what my clear bra guy told me) most installers don't use 3m because its super hard to install, but its the best stuff to get. It has automotive clear coat on it, so you have to be careful not to swirl it, and you gotta wax it just like paint, but be careful to tape up the edges before you wax or you're going to get wax stuck in the edges and it will outline the bra against your paint so it won't look so invisible anymore lol. It's a pain to clean the wax out of the lines when you do, so just avoid that hassle and tape its edges when you wax! I think you should just pay the extra cost to get it installed. You can call local installers and tell them to give you a quote if you have your own 3m bra on install. I paid $550 installed for 24 inches of coverage on the hood and the fenders, Complete front bumper, mirrors, partial 1/4 panels, and door edge guards, and door handles.
