2011 Fog Light Lens

Is it possible to replace just the lens on the fog light, or do you have to replace the entire unit? 3 days after picking up my new G37 I caught a rock on the highway and it cracked the lens on the driver side.

The fog light still works so hopefully I can avoid paying for an entire unit or pair and just replace the lens.

I think you have to replace the entire unit. IIRC for my Maxima you actually had to buy both L & R units.

That's what the dealer said too. I was hoping there was a site that sells just the lens...

why would you need to replace both ???? You can buy a new fog light from a 2nd hand parts dealer such as infinituparts.com for 160 and install it yourself if you know how to take off your bumper.....unless i am missing something here??? should be pretty simple.

You don't have to replace both. The dealer just sells them in pairs.

The dealer sells the oem fog lights in pairs??? Is that what your saying?? I wonder if its just your parts dept. I had bought the right fog light fom my dealer before I found out I could get it for half the price, then returned it.... strange...

Would you be able to take pictures of how the fog light sits in the vent by any chance? This would greatly help some of us trying to retrofit fogs in out 08 vents. (This is assuming that you will be replacing the fog light yourself )
