Once I remove the start button can I unplug the connector without disconnecting the battery? (I don't want to lose my radio presets)

No there isn't a DIY on changing the individual LED's like I do, just one for swapping with the GT-R button.

Yeah I didn't think I had seen one. Thought about doing this but don't know what sort of LEDs it takes. Looks great though.
