Wow, great work man. IMO this is the best custom DRL set up I've seen so far on the G's. IMO they look pretty much OEM.

That is BA! I had the same idea but had never seen it done. Does the metal piece act as a sturdy structure or anything ? How does the kit mount?

Looks great! Personally though, I am not a fan of led strips. I couldn't believe when Audi came out with them. I thought they looked very aftermarket and cheesy.

And it's even worse since everyone is just ripping them off right now.

Great job

The light housing itself is black and as far as space, these take very little room. There is about 2 1/2" space between the rt faux grill and the washer tank, plenty of room. The led is 6.25 w x .8 h x 2" deep. The pics show a blur of light but in person you see the distinct 5 leds , 1watt ea btw....
Great job. Just got some question
Why did you got with 5 lights instead of 6?
And this might be a stupid question but what happens now with the regular DRL, do you leave it on or is there a way to turn if of?
Thanks

you made it looks pretty nice. Still not a big fan of this especially on the G, looks cheap in a way. Especially now since the newer models are coming with lower fogs.
