eyelids for g37 tail lights?

I spoke with Bat on the phone tonight. He sounds like a high energy guy who knows what he's doing. He also has a large body of work so he's clearly very experienced at this.
Bat seemed very enthusiastic which was above and beyond my expectations. In most trades when you are looking for custom work you have to deal with a big time artiste which can be exhausting. Not the case with Bat.
Bat said that he would put together a couple of samples for this design and post some pics before the end of March, probably much sooner.
I think Bat said that he has professional installers in a few major cities including Dallas where I currently live. This is really nice because I am not good at applying things like this correctly the first time.
I think Bat only makes black vinyl overlays - no color-match options. But Bat says that the black overlays pair up nicely with the black exterior color and even has a bit of a glossy finish. This is great because I only buy black cars anyway. Since professional color matching is not used this helps keep the cost low - very low.
I have created various custom designs in the past for various things - shirts, paintings, paint jobs, etc. In general, whenever I want a one-off custom item made by a skilled professional I can pretty much expect a base starting price of around $200. I asked Bat how much this would cost and he said $20 or $25! I'm pretty sure this is the range he gave me. Bat - please correct me if I'm wrong.
So the value is way beyond my expectations. I can see why Bat is so popular around here. I think it would be very difficult for someone to compete with Bat's business model.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Bat comes up with. It looks like there are a few other people in this thread who are also looking forward to seeing how the final product turns out. I think Bat will probably post some follow-up pics to this thread by the end of the month.
