WHAAAAT?!!!

It adds a touch of sportiness, aggressiveness, and some cool factor back there. The G looks bland and naked back there without any contrast around the diffuser area. Even with just a rear valence overlay makes a big difference.

IMO, it looks best on IP, VR and the graphite colors.
