2010 xenon headlights
I have a 2010 g37 conv and just had iron mans and led parking lights installed by 180 and now they make my headlights look yellowish. Can I replace my bulbs to match the bright white led iron mans? Would the bulbd you used from v-led.com fit in my 2010. Is it easy to swap bulbs out myself? Thx.

I changed my map lights, front door lights, trunk light, rear license plate, and rear lights all to V-LEDS. I love them and get SO many compliments! I'm assuming that the vanity mirror led size is the same as yours on my 09 sedan. I'm ordering those tomorrow morning! What size bulb do i need for my glovebox? Thanks in advance!!!! Happy modding!

Hmmm...
I have an IDENTICAL car to yours... it's a 2011 G37S with Nav and Premium package. I swapped out all of the bulbs to 6K VLED's EXCEPT the Xenon's, and decided to finally do it today. So I take my car to my local guys that loves working on it and asked him to get started with 'his' 6K D2S's... They immediately ignite, and then turn off. No fade, no ramp up... nothing. They are just on for a 'thousand one' count and then cut off. We tried 8K and 6K aftermarket bulbs (NOT VLED's), and nothing would work... Has anybody else seen this? I put the stock 4300's back in and they were perfect, but I need to match to the 6k's everywhere else... Any thoughts?

xenon headlight ds2 bulb upgrade by v-led
Wanted to know how ncpalafox's headlights have been since he installed them. Do they work properly or do you have problems with them going out? I heard that aftermarket bulbs dont fire up properly only the infiniti stock ones work right. Thx.

You heard correctly sir... I tried to use the VLED bulbs on my 2011 G37S Coupe 7AT and they DID NOT fire up correctly. I then tried another brand, they didn't either. Put the stock ones back and immediately lit up. My service advisor from Infiniti knows me from outside work, and we got on the phone with Philips Germany and tried to hammer out an explanation from them. They said that their bulbs should work with any ballast and any wires, etc. We conferenced in Infiniti's highest level tech (that they'd let us talk to), and he made the comment about there being a new specification with the '11 ballasts. He basically told us that the color differentials between two "identical" 4300 bulbs were too great on the 2010 and below models, so they tried to increase the spec rating. "APPARENTLY" (and I don't know enough about it to know if he's lying, but hopefully someone here does) there is a tolerance of .01 ohm variance to allow the bulb to fire. If the computer reads it as .02 off in either direction, it will simply cut power to the bulb, which is what I was seeing. I threw two aftermarket ballasts in, and they lit up my 6K bulbs perfectly, but after asking the Infiniti guy, he confirmed that Infiniti does not have plans to put a 6K bulb in any vehicle any time soon, so I'm stuck with aftermarket bulbs/ballasts for 6K brightness.
