Carbon Fiber Roof Cap Disastergrade
So my cf roof started looking real bad and was faded so decided to get rid of it. I will say it was on there REAL good with the 3M tape.
However the lesson for today is DO NOT put a carbon fiber roof cap on your car. At least not from Mastergrade anyway. Apparently water collects under it and eats away at your paint. Check it..
Definitely needs sanded and repainted.
On a side not I do have a slightly used cf roof cap for sale. $20 plus paypal fees and shipping.
I planned on painting or wrapping the roof matte balck but this was an expensive lesson.

Ouch! That s***s bro.
I suppose "GLWS" would be the right thing to say, but it just doesn't seem to fit. LOL!

Oh man that's terrible! I know mastergrade went MIA on here after Blake's car. Have you tried contacting them?

Apparently not! I did not add any extra tape just used what was already on the cap which was around all the edges.

Got all the tape and goo off with some bug and tar remover.
First quote to repair and paint was $500!!! Pretty sure it is going to run about $300 to fix it.
