Leaking passenger side window

Just a heads up. Just took in my coupe for a leaking window. It took the dealer 3 days to figure out where is was leaking but ended up replacing the rubber seal. It continued to leak on them so they used some silicone tar stuff to help push the rubber to the window to seal it. There is a drain that runs from the sunroof down the Inside of the A pillar toward the firewall that will back up and leak if it gets plugged so they cleaned that as well. so that may have been part of the problem too. Then to top it off they ran another car in the lot into mine and had to send it to a body shop! So much for having a spotless g car. Great for resale. Everytime I have to take it there is gets f#+ked up! Stay away from Beaverton Infiniti in Beaverton Oregon! Just a heads up

I'd be asking for a new car or for the money I'd be losing due to my car being hit(Diminished Value). A-Holes.

Have the window leake.. but its only happened once and i guess i can live with it and see what happens...

as far as hitting the car sounds like they owe you something.. they would be buying it back from me and replacing it with a car of equal or greater value.. although this would be the dealerships fault and not Infiniti's... I guess you already figured not to go there again.

good luck!

I use to have leaks from both windows while driving in first heavy rain. Dealer adjusted something and now it is OK, but I never drove in such rains after. Regular or low intensity rain is OK.
However I could admit that Nissan/Infiniti having no attention on this problem for years already, starting with G35 coupe and even Z350. It is very shameful and I would probably consider another brand coupe for next car because of this.

i have contacted the sales manager to see if they want to make me a SCREAMING good deal on a NEW g coupe. this would make a very unhappy customer satisfied. probably wont happen but that will guarantee i wont ever go back!

I bought my 08 infiniti g37 there for 23k w/ 12k miles. I haven't done any service there yet... I might just use my own dealership where I work for my maintenance.

i take my car there only if i have some warranty issues. for scheduled maint i take it to an import car shop near my house. i would rather pay them to do the maintenence than the dealership.

I had my 08 g37s there a few weeks back. That lot is small and their building is old. The problem is that they are the only Infiniti deal within 150 miles. I would see if you could get a new undamaged car for a nice discount otherwise your car lost some value.

They put a bunch of scratches on my car from a wash that I requested them not to do.

Also put a deep scratch on one of my wheels.

They're moving to a new facility soon, but they'll still have the same personnel.

If it is the passenger side, look at the left side of the window (when looking from outside.) Make sure it is straight. Mine was crooked and water was getting in through the top corner.
