Chrome Turn Signal Bulbs

I'm looking for some new chrome turn signal bulbs. I previously had a pair in my G from eBay. But they were a bit dim and went bad pretty quickly. Anyone have any recommendation? Since my reflectors are painted white I need a bright bulb. Also i'm not interested in and LED bulbs at the moment. (Chrome looks better)

I recently installed a set, and they did look a little dim! IMO

I just went with a clear bulb.

Umm, clear bulb wouldn't be a bad choice either. Never thought of it...
Does clear bulb give out that darker orange color? (Like stock)

No.. They don't.. Clear bulbs reflect clear...

Try looking up "chrome dome" turn signals.

I ordered some 7440 chrome bulbs on ebay and some 7440 PIAA bulbs. Neither of which fit into my 2011 G Coupe. The part that goes into the socket seems a bit thicker on the edges. Any suggestions of what I'm doing wrong or what might be the fitment issue. Thanks

I have the full chrome's from autolumination. They work great. Solid chrome with no hint of amber when they are off, and they blink amber when they are on so they are legal.

Looks with legality.

What philter25 said. I've had them for 3 years now. They're not dim.
