painting my grille black

thinkin of painting my grille black in the near future..heard 180 customs can do it for me. anyone have any feedback/reviews about the quality of their work and price? or anywhere else in the nyc area that may do it as well. i know i can do it on my own..but too lazy lol. thanks!

yes, the quality of their work is outstanding. Very clean work and would recommend them 100%. You can definitely save the money and do it yourself, but if you want no mistakes...go to them.

here is 180 customs page on g35nyc for grille/emblem work. i havent gotten my grille done by them, but the headlights they painted for me are flawless. i recommend them for being stand up guys, especially since a guy named Alex now is working there. he's fixed up a lot of the issues people had with 180 customs.

i just went ahead & bought a grille that was already black gloss from the factory

Just did my grill over the weekend. Took a couple hours and $15. Do it yourself!

there should be a DIY on removing the grille. it is just several snaps and a few bolts if I remember correctly. After that, it is just a matter of masking and sanding like you would before painting any other plastic piece and have at it.
