headlights staying on?

Hey Guys, has anyone had a problem with their headlights not turning off in the auto setting?......I live in Canada, so we need to have Daytime Running Lights...so my headlights turn on right when i turn on the car, but for some reason they like to stay on after when i turn off my car, even when i manually adjust the setting to off when im done driving......any help would be appreciated!

What year is your G? There is a lights off delay you can set in the Settings in the car.
Are the HIDs on all the time?

Go into your menu and adjust the time limit

This is from memory so it may not be 100%:
Settings button - Comfort and Convenience - should be an option in here for a lights off delay
