just installed a R2C intake and had to do this because i disconnected my battery.

Great intake, i get faster trottle response " less lagg" and it sounds a lot better.

thanks for this tip!

Did it occur to you that the improved throttle response you're feeling is most likely due to the fact that you had the battery disconnected which resets the ECU?

It's widely known that resetting your ecu will increase throttle response

...slowly sneaks outside to disconnect his battery

This same issue of resetting the auto windows works on a lot of other brands of cars too. You may also have to reset your sunroof too. If you have an auto roof it will probably just open an inch at a time. Just open it all the way and close it and it will reset

Bumping this. What if this particular G37S forgets how to auto roll up windows even though the battery has NOT been disconnected? Just did a small 120 mile round trip with AC on and a bit of cruise control. Any idea why this may have happened? I got frustrated and feel bad that I doubted the vehicle. Fixed it with the 5 second thing. Still curious.

My issue is different. Rolling down all 4 windows by holding down the unlock button on the key fob has suddenly stopped working. Thought resetting the windows would help but no luck. Any ideas? Perhaps whatever controlling it has failed and I should give up on it... I did use it quite a bit though. Very cool feature.

That is definitely a feature you will lose if you need to reset your windows. After you reset the windows they now work- auto up and down from inside ok? I only ask because I had to reset mine to get the roll down feature with the remote to work again.

Oddly enough, that feature does not work all the time. The car will unlock, but sometimes I have to unlock and hold the unlock button down a few times to get the windows to roll down. Cool feature in the summer, especially with the leather seats (for now)- when it works anyway.
