I was wondering how much it usually costs to paint a rear bumper and side skirts. I got a quote for about $1000 to change the color of the parts from PG to OB with the valence and parts of the side matted black. Is this a good price or should I keep searching for a new shop?

 

I think that $ is wayyyy to steep. I was quoted $1,300 to do the entire nose of my car. Im going from black to black but I doubt its more expensive to spray it a different color.

You're repainting the WHOLE car? What was wrong with it?

 

Someone vandalized it. Insurance paid for the job. All I had to pay was the 500$ deductible...well worth it, esp for a black car.

 

Damn. I didn't know they actually strip the whole car and start from scratch. Must be quite a costly repair.

that's about right for a quality shop. I think I paid close to that to paint my Zele front and sides. And it was from fiberglass to paint... sanding, primer and new color will be more. I see you're in D.B., PM me and I'll try to get you a deal at DTM in El Monte, they do a lot of Sema cars and I know them well.....

If you dont care about quality Macco will hook you up for about 300

Got a quote from DTM and they gave me an amazing price. looks like im driving my bumper and sides back up from San Diego in the G again.......
