Question on blacked out/tinted tail lights

Question on blacked out/tinted tail lights

I was going to go ahead and tint my tail lights( not using blue bat overlay). I wanted to tint them really dark but I was wondering if someone rear ended me...would I be at fault because my lights are tinted? I live in Atlanta and I'm not sure of the local laws but I wouldn't tint them if I would be at fault.

I guess if they can't see your brake lights when you brake, then Yea! LOL

depends on the tint, i have an illegal tint but they can still see my lights just not the base of red as in if the car lights were off you would not be able to see red on the backlights, but if the lights are on u can see the red lights fine

i already got a ticket for the backlights being tinted so if u get it make sure its legal tint lol, i didnt tiny my front lights..yet
