Changing fog bulbs

Something like 12 bolts, 10 pins, a few panels, 2 pairs of latex gloves, and some scratched wrists, I was able to change the oem bland bulbs to Nokya yellow fogs.

Good lord that was too much work just for fogs but I am absolutely not mechanically-inclined.

I also posted pics of my cheap winter setup here.

Are the yellow fogs more effective or do they just look better? I am interested in more effective fogs so help me know if the Nokya is an upgrade. Thx!

yellow 3k fogs are suposely more effective than OEM fogs, in harsh conditions like with lots of fogs in heavy rain or stm.

Sounds like a lot of work, but if the outcome was what you were looking for, then

The winter setup looks good. Still waiting for mine to arrive in the correct size - any minute now!

It was about 20 minutes per side. The driver side was my first attempt so it was a slow go. The passenger side was tougher because of a fluid reservoir.

the Nokya 3k yellow are not necessarily brighter than OEM, but the color stands out more in inclement weather conditions. it also looks better.

Love the yellow bulbs on the white G. Definitely one of the next mods.

I changed mine to Höen yellow "Endurance" bulbs a few months ago. It took me about 10 minutes per side by partially removing the splash shield under the car.

IMO HID's are the best upgrade for the G's fogs. Even the best H8 halogen bulbs aren't very bright in our fogs. When I have some time I'm going to do a HID upgrade on mine too.
