2012 G to have LED front Strips

quoted from source

"The car is reported to feature “dramatic” use of LED strip lights at its front end.

How soon will the public get to see it? Well, you’ll have to wait a while. A near production concept is scheduled to debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show followed by a production version at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show. That means you won’t see it at your local dealerships until mid-2012."

cant wait to make the upgrade if the parts are going to be interchangable.

Sounds cool but i hope its not just a single LED strip like Lexus used with the 2011 IS. But im guessing by "dramatic" there could be some style.

I thought it was also interesting that there is going to be a FWD Infiniti compact that will also debut in concept form.

Can't say I am not excited to see it and glad they are doing it, but I really wish Infiniti would bring something out that is there own. Audi has these lights, BMW has Halos, I just feel like Infiniti has finally worked there way into the big boys game, and they are ready to have a look that is all their own.

Lame....they are way too late to the party. All I ever see now is those lame C-class Mercedes with the LED strips on the bottom of the front fascia. Looks like something a kid got from Autozone to put on his Civic.

I love the Audi look - hopefully it'll add as much flavor to the infinitis as it does for the audis.

yes, lexus did add them to the 2011 models. I test drove one. they also the F sport pkg, which is way better than the our "S" pkg.

it has black headliner and many added accessories.

Infiniti should do away with the LED strip lighting and just install Iron Man headlights in all the upcoming cars...

Beyond lame; they should concentrate on power-train refinement and weight reduction.

+1!
I think the ironman led is a cut above the rest.
I do on the other hand, like when those beemer guys change out the color of that basic (yellowy) halo, for a 5,6,8k version.
the audi's led version are ok, but I give them respect for being one of the first production car to make it happen.
the benz's version is plain wack!
