180 Customs LEDs

So why don't you see Audi and MB's driving around with half their LED's burnt out? If the heat issue is the problem and not the wiring, then are the Germans venting their lenses? Not likely lol. Probably the quality of the product used and proper wiring. Points to who does the work IMO.
MB's LEDs are no where near the headlight, which means they dont overheat

Alex told me november 22nd that they don't have any LED to replace the dead ironman leds at the moment and all he can do is disconnect the remaining led so it doesn't ruin the look. I have no idea if he's telling people differently but since Kidcane just got his replace i don't know what's going on now. I havn't gotten a message from Alex saying he's resolved his LED issue with his manufacturer yet.

Kidcane, i guess those extra set of resistors they added to your replacement didn't work out? If that was two weeks ago, maybe they just recently stop replacing LED since nothing seems to correct this issue... blaahhh

Here's an update for all the fellas in the same boat.
After talking with Alex at 180 and he took the time to explain everything to me. Considering how busy they are i appreciate his efforts.
Apparently the LED 180 are using are expensive automotive LEDs, same ones used by Audis. The reason why Audis LED are more reliable is because of their advance circuit boards which controls the LED. 180 is a small company that can't afford to research into that kind of technology. The LED that were installed into the Ironman were 10x more expensive than other piranha led. When the cold weather took over these LED started dying unexpectedly because these are German made while cheaper Asian led still were working. This completely took 180 by surprise considering the quality and price of the LEDs they use plus its German base so who would have thought this would happen. Anyway, 180 did order a large supply from their Asian manufacturer and are waiting on the new LEDs to arrive. They tried adding larger resistors to the current LEDs hoping this will fix the issue but according to them it didn't work either. So they concluded that it's the LED themselves and not anything that 180 can control. Now they are waiting for the Asian LED batch to arrive to start taking warranty again.
As a customer i am alittle frustrated that this happen, but i also understand their point of view and that this situation is out of their control. They are excellent in their work and services, and once i knew what was up because Alex took the time to explain it, i didn't mind waiting anymore.
I hope everyone can come to the same understanding as i have come. They really do try their best to satisfy all their customers, but there are things that are out of their control and this just happens to be one of it. I'm fully confident they will get the new batch of led soon and i will be getting a full warranty replacement like everyone else.
Sorry about my grammers, kinda in a rush.

Thanks for the update NonAme, good luck with everything man. I hope everyone gets their problems resolved.
And i guess all the best with 180Custom. Their work looks great, but i think Igor/Alex really needs to buck up on how they work(buying from suppliers, their customers service), or they would lose a lot of potential customers. Because not everyone will be as understanding and patient as NonAme, and not everyone can accept the company's loss and take the burden together, they are after all customers.
Anyway, I wish everyone the best of luck people.

Crap! I wonder if I should even bother putting mine on since I know they are going to burn out again. I am a little confused though. I thought the reason the LEDs were burning out was because they get too hot in the headlight housing hence the cooling fan Audi's use. So why would more burn out once it got cold out side? Seems like they would work better in the cold and worse in the summer.
