just to bring this thread back to life, i just ordered this piece so ill do a full detailed review of the pros and cons.. uncoftunetely i can already tell that the sunroof looks sunken in a little bit but im willing to live with that to complete the 2 tone lapis blue/ carbon fiber look on my car... will post review as soon as it arrives in new jersey 4-7 buss days...

Definitely needs sanded and repainted.
On a side not I do have a slightly used cf roof cap for sale. $20 plus paypal fees and shipping.

So how do I go about making sure that dosnt happen.... would extra 3m tape work?? Or roof vinyl maybe?? The. Putting the cf over that

Vinyl first may work, especially if you car is not black you will probably want to do at least the edges anyway so the color does not show. But I guess if you had 3M all the way around with no gaps at all it would not leak but after what I went through I would not even take the chance on that.

had one of these " AIT " cf roofs from ebay on my 06 350z and it fit like poo poo, edges showed cars paint....nothing like filing a paypal claim for " damaged during shipping "

thats exactly where i got mine... ebay! not because iw anted to but because i need this to complete the look of my car and unfortunetly it really did come damaged... second of all fit like shi* third... someone please make a damn roof cap already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
