Powder Coating in NJ
i drive a g37x and stock didnt come with painted calipers. over the summer i painted them with duplicolor's caliper painting kit and now its starting to chip. almost seems to be fading away, lots of spots show the metal straight through. so now i think im going to go with powder coating them. good idea? bad idea? never had anything powder coated before. i was thinking about going either red or purple.
i had some questions i thought i'd ask you guys so i get an unbiased response:
how much money on avg should getting all 4 calipers powdercoated start to finish cost?
any reputable shops in central NJ?
how long does the process take from start to finish, could i be driving the car that day itself?
thanks guys

- process takes anywhere from 1 day to a few days (depending how fast the shop wants to work). they will sandblast your calipers then start the powdercoating process.
-price should be way less than $100 per caliper considering it cost that much for wheels.
remember you will have to take the calipers off and bring it to the shop. but I dont think its worth it for non sport brakes, wont really look any better

thanks guys, will check it out. looking to pc them just because i hate having spend a few hours manually painting them while laying on gravel and for them to already look like **** up close. just dont know if i can go a day without the car as its my daily haha. the paint kit was only 20 dollars so it might be more reasonable to do it by hand if pc'ing them would be close to 100 each. might as well put that 400 towards the BBK. lol
