It is possible, but I wouldn't recommend it. A tint shop up here did that to my coupe so that the tint would not start to peel away at the bottom before it dried. To make a long story short I noticed a difference because was air seeping through my window with the door closed and I had to take it to the dealership so that they could fix the issue. They told me that it was common for most tint places to do that.
Probably but you run the risk of the tint guy closing the door with the window all the way up and breaking it. There are hundreds of owners here who have gotten their windows tinted. Professional installers know how to deal with it so I wouldn't worry about it.
If its a reputable tint shop, they will know what to do(usually work the edges with the heat gun), I had mine done and no problem. Where are you located?
When u open the door right next to the switch that lets ur car know the door is closed there is a screw, if you turn that open the door will go up to the max up position.
With the door open, press the rubber covered button on the door jamb. The window will pop up. Have somebody hold the button while you tint.
^^^ What he said. I've worked at a Audio/Tint shop and that is what the tinter does. There's a little black button that he presses that the window rolls up all the way when pressed.

Good call PeTeToTe, the screw is located directly below the button on door jam, turned it 1/4 turn CCW and the window fully closed.
