Use2VW: Man, I'm interested in that anyday over the LEDs... They look too much like a cheap tack on, seen them on MBs looks like a cheap tack on at the bottom of the front fascia.... With your DIY (The relay install) you need to put on the Parking Lights? or the Fogs work independently?

OK.. I was originally trying to tackle running the fogs indpnt of the lows...but our electronics rich cars are all now digitally wired up...soo. In order to have fogs separate function from lows without spending $100's+ all you need to do is mount a separate switch and relay. (for me NOT a big deal at all - but for other's who don't want to cheapin a $40k lux sport sedan - you can stop reading now)

I had a set of 3000k HID fogs from DDM which I strung up to a new 55w aftermarket foglight relay and switch. Ran wires through driver's firewall and tucked everything up clean. Yes my fogs are now run via a cheapy fog light switch, but I don't care cause total cost and time spend was $24 and maybe 30 mins install. Plus mine's is a lease so I def didn't want to go tearin into the ECU digital brains that control lights ect. I guess I can put together a DIY w/pics - but it's easy and soo damn nice to have that DRL or jus cruise at dusk rollin only lower fogs...(you can string them to anything, parking or access input, I went access input so I can run without any other lights on.

I guess you need the switch so you can turn off the fog lights when your brights are on, otherwise do they just go on and off with the starting and stopping of the engine?

I like them, but they are too subdued. They need to be more stylish and not a knockoff of the Audi or MB. I totally agree the price for what you get is completely incomprehensible!

Definately not for that price. you could do the same thing yourself or get it done for under $150

Still looks great! Cost is relative to what you want your car to look like.

Maybe $300 for the set.
I agree, they're nice, but not nice enough to drop $600 on them.
